What he's NOT telling you is...The car doesn't have to be jumped EVERYTIME. It only has to be jumped after it's been jumped then sits then dies again...NOT the STARTER. You can drive the car somewhere turn it off go shopping get back in it and it cranks...

So, maybe something slowly draining his battery? Meaning you said he can drive it and turn it off, and if it's not that much longer he can crank it back up... I would think that something is constantly wired hot and it's draining it... But, just my opinion. Take it with a grain of salt...

Im willing to bet your opinion is 100% correct. More than likely the Alt. is draining the battery.

Yeah, it's possessed. Wire gremlins are a bitch.

But anyways, did you install/change anything before this started happening? Did it start after the radio was put in?

it worked fine after the radio was installed.. i did that while i was in the army and old driving it on the weekends, but when i bought a new car i swaped the cd players so the new one would be in the new car and i just parked the mustang for a few months thats when it started happening.

Huh. I'd check your grounds and cables actually, if it started after a while of sitting. Something might have corroded into a short.
