    Default 78 malibu"street build"

well i started tearing apart my 78 malibu i bought. im re-doing everything from frame up.. all new floor pans body panels (that need replaced) and build it for a nice little street strip car.. im doing a mini tub, 12 point cage, frame braces, and everything.. im going to be building everything .. im probably end up running a high comperssion motor this year but i have a motor on the stand that im building for boost. im going to build me a turbo kit. im thinking about a gt45 turbo with 40mm wastegate. but this year well probably just be a 12:5:1 comperssion motor with a nice set of heads, and cam that i got.
well heres a couple of pics that i took.. i already started doing new pieces on the body and stuff.. should be done by middle or end of summer.

    my old setup.. 671 blower

taking out the a/c unit..heavy ass junk

    my racing seats.

welded in new piece and start doing the body work.

    before

after i welded and fixed it.. (first coat)

    nasty rust whole..

    shot mount

ill post some pics after i start putting in the new floor pans and frame braces..

mmmm sexayyyy. That huge car makes even that V8 look tiny though.

^^ Yeah, I drew a frame of a man running on each fan blade. That is him running at idle

Has anyone ever seen a white one with a home made bodykit? It looks like it was driven of the Mad Max set. If so, got a picture?

Sure its not 4" with a 2" body lift? Looks alittle low to be 6" suspension lift + the 2" body lift. I was asking because I'm about to get one and I was going to ask what setup he was running. I want something alright for DD but make it look right. If you understand what I'm saying. I like his setup though.

i though the same thing. i was like theres no way.. but i measured it when i had it on my lift doing some welding on it. and by god it was a 6"lol. but anyways he had blocks and shocks.. and cant remember if he flipped it around or not.. (thats what alot of people do gives you another 3") i think it had skyjacker shocks. but i cant remember.. i do remember it road like a log.. felt like i was in a hydraulic car.pretty fun though, ran like a champ. ive never seen interior so clean my entire life. it was like it was new.i was thinking about buyign it but he wanted way to much.. if you are looking for one the main thing to look for is in the rear by the spring mounts on the frame they rust out really bad.ive welded them plunty of times for people.. if you can find a older blazer they come with dana rear ends which is way better. supposenly some years had 410 gears in it.
