Kidney stones are the most excruciating pain one can experience. I know this first hand, twice. I'm glad yours passed quickly...mine took 2 weeks each!

In my senior year of High School I had one that was apparently abnormally large, and a slight kidney rupture at the same time. I was told by the doctor that the pain I experienced was "far worse than the pain of unmedicated childbirth"... and let me tell you, it was BAD. When you nearly pass out and you're vomiting straight stomach acid just from pain alone, you know you're in some pain. lol. After 4 morphine injections I finally didn't hate my life.

mine pain only lasted about 6 hours total. i actually passed it giving my urine sample to my dr before i was diagnosed and before the iv-p. so i actually passed mine 15 minutes before i knew i had it. but my junk still feels a little sore
