Default 1993 Mercury Capri convertible $1295

    VIN 6MPCT03Z2M861xxxx
    MILES 137K

Up for sale is my 1993 Capri convertible. Neat car designed by the Italians, built in Australia by Ford on super-reliable Mazda 323 running gear and sold in the US as a Mercury.

Good running car, drives great, cheap on gas. Interior needs cleaning, driver side seat has a couple small rips, body has normal small dings, NO dents, NO rust. The rear wing is from a 1994 Capri XR2 which was one of only 366 built!

Top needs replacing but you can buy that on eBay new for under $200 and they are easy to install yourself. Factory radio but no speakers, tires are not the best but should go for awhile.

Engine does not smoke, runs strong for a 1.6 (same basic engine as the Miata, but front wheel drive,) brakes feel good, trans shifts good, clutch feels good, popup headlights work fine, power windows work, car looks great for it's age. There is a back seat but very small, good for kids. I was going to enjoy this car this Spring with my wife and daughter, but a baby on the way forces sale. Can't fit TWO car seats in the back!

These little cars are getting harder to find and will be soon a very sought after collectors item. This is one of only 2800 '93 Capris imported to the United States! Add the Stratosphere Blue paint and the '94 XR2 wing and this may be one of a kind!
