Short story before, got alot of sentimental value.

*Why the truck is signicant*
When I was younger... 14-15 my dad knew this guy that did body work up in woodstock. 6'8" tall, smoked like a train, was probably drunk. But the guy did amazing body work. I used to see this black truck in the back of his shop, thought it was cool. Never knew a damn thing about cars then, so it was just a cool black truck. My dad ended up being friends with the guy as time went on, I saw Jeff here and there. I even worked for the guy for like 2 weeks when I was 17 to fix some body work on one of my vehicles in exhange for my labor on other things.

So skip to last week, I'm at my buddies shop. Guy is the former drumer of Molly Hatchet. His name is Mac Crawford, look it up. Cool ass dude. I was posting some of these extra cars he has on craigslist for him. Well theres a 73 F100, 90 Silverado (doesn't look stock at all, cowl hood, slammed, ghost grille, bags, clean, murdered out) and a 300 D mercedes. I get in the Silverado just to look around in it, it looks cool and all. Opening the center console I find a familiar business card. Its Jeff Ealys card. The guy my dad used to know and I worked for. Very confused I go ask Mac, "hey man, did you know Jeff or something?" Mac met the dude in 1982, tripped over him running the from the cops drunk as hell.
Jeff ended his life about 10 months ago, depressed with life, his wife and everything. That was his truck in the yard. It was for sale. The window was hurting for money.

So, I bought it. I always wanted that thing bad, and Jeff would have to stay within his friends. He was a gearhead like that.

Already bagged. Full firestone airbag system.

And yes, it moves. First time I test drove it, I gave it half throttle and it lit both tires up for about 35-40 feet. Its got some power I would say haha

I know. Ive never used a set of bags, my buddy is big into them. I want him to take a look at it before I start hitting buttons to make sure I shouldn't be doing something like purge the tank or drain it. Truck has been sitting for like 3 months.

Well, according to various forums. If the truck has those particular parts (edelbrock intake, multi port, heads, headers, cam, exhaust, X pipe, chip... They supposedly put out 400-425 hp.

Further reseaching, vortec V1 supercharger will be the big start. Fiberglass cover on the bed, tub out the rear. Probably throw a bottle on it eventually. Some 325 hoosiers on craigers.

I remember when all the tow truck drivers in NYC used these trucks. They would tear up the streets racing to an accident. I wanted one so bad. Good find and change the wheels please.

I generally could care less how shiny my valve covers are.

Yes of coarse. I won't be anything impressive till its boosted but it is a damn good tire kicker and street light runner as it sits.

I think I am going with some black rock crawler style rims. They are mad cheap, and nice and wide.

52 bucks a piece usually brand new.




Going for the "I'm going to murder your family, probably eat them after all while watching an episode of Family guy in the process" look.
