Default Finally got some paint down, Update on the Rex!

    Scroll down for updated pics!

We here is some stuff I am doing to the rex while it's cold as shit! I am repainting the back, painting the strut bars white, repainted the air intake and other randoms things that need painting, HID conversion, and the new rear wiper block off plug from Honda. Well here are some teaser pics of the back. I will post up some more when I finish next week. Thanks for checking it out!

First big thing was I had to get the black sound deadening stuff off. This was fun. Here is what it looked like before.

After removing the black crap! This is without doing any thing but removing the black stuff, this is how bad the back of my car looked. Notice how it's 6 different reds!!!

    Supplies

Still got lots of sanding to do and covering but you'll see the results soon.

Now a really nice truck we just got to work on. A 62 Chevy truck. Very nice paint, I took the pics to fast today so they don't do it justice. Check out that badass shifter. Oh... and by the way it's an automatic.

Start with your car and don't show a finished product.

Sorry guys! This is the first time I have posted pics without the finished product. The weather has been so shitty here lately I haven't done it yet. But maybe I can finish up toward the end of this week when it starts to warm up a little!

    UPDATE!!!!

Well here is after the sanding and primer. I will be putting the red on Monday hopefully.

Here is something else I am painting. I decided to paint the shift knob, strut tower bars, and harness bar all white. Kinda to go with the new white valve cover.

Well ignore the filthy ass car but here is a little more progress. I still need to shine up all the rear plastics and such but this will show you how it turned out. I still have to put in the rear strut bar, it's also white. I will still have some more pics to come after I get the car cleaned up and maybe a few other things.

Thanks man! Yeah I do love red, but I did really consider painting it black. I think that would have looked good too.
