Default I am now and L-coholic.

New package today. Hmm.... wonder what it could be?

    Oh my, L glass.

Isn't she a thing of beauty? A lens pouch and hood too? Oh how nice of you to throw in Canon!

Ok, I just got my fist L-series lens today. All I have to say is WOW. The sharpness, contrast, and color saturation are unparalleled in terms of my lens collection. The out of focus areas are so beautifully blurred with the 8-blade rounded aperture system. It is amazing.

I went outside for a short time to snap a few pics, most were boring pics just to see what the lens could do and from what distances. Good thing I got it today though. Cause I nabbed this pic from across the parking lot without the subjects even knowing I existed.

This lens is SHARP! 100% crop.

    Just thought I'd share.

^^ Yeah, I drew a frame of a man running on each fan blade. That is him running at idle

Congrats but you are not an L-coholic until you go on an L buying spree. lol

I also take it that you are on a 1.6 crop body. I loved the reach of my 70-200 2.8 on the 30D but now it is too short on the 5D. Gotta buy a 100-400 next.

Haha. It took me 3 months to save up for the cheapest L lens so that buying spree is far off haha. I am using on a 20D though.

Fuck stance. Stance is for kids in skinny jeans with Justin Beiber haircuts. You don't need stance when you got swagger.

Yeah, I see it being really useful. I can get people before they spot me, and if they do, I can get far enough away for them to forget me. I love TRUE candids. I've had to set up a few in the past with the 50 1.8 in YB, but they still looked so fake.

I have the same problem, although I have the extender.....but I don't like shooting with it unless I have to.

Let me know if you run across a crack head deal on one.....

LOL so that means I need to find 2 crack head deals on a 100-400L.

We need to break out the cameras and go shoot again. Been too long since we hung out shooting.

~Turns on "Crack Head Deal" monitors. ~

I gotta pick my 5D up from the shop this week (she was dirty and had to get clean) so once I get it back and this arctic blast is gone we will set something up.
