    It was such a nice cloudy day and i really didnt have much to do so i went out and took some pictures. let me know what you think

    thanks, i just wanted to go out to try out this cheap 55-200mm lens i got off KEH and didnt really plan on using any lighting but ended up going back home to get my lights for that last shot LOL

    tripod cause i shot at ISO 200. i could have gotten away with handheld but ive been real anal about noise lately so i broke out the tripod and dropped the ISO

    very nice shots homie.. the last one come out great with the lighting.. How do you like the 55-200mm (is it the VR version or the regular one)??

    it you get enough space between your subject and the back ground it makes decent DoF, its decently sharp but attempting to shoot moving objects(tried taking pictures of my dog) doesnt work out well, its just not very fast. still shots, its great.

    its a non VR edition i bought from KEH for 41 bucks

    DAMN 41 bucks.. Yea it is a pretty good lens and bokeh is pretty decent, sharpness is good too and the VR is much faster.. Silent wave AF-S lenses OWN oldskool!!!

    yeah i heard the VR is much faster but i cant bitch too much for what i paid, i was just looking on KEH dreaming of 80-200mm 2.8's and saw this lens and then saw the price and went add to cart LOL

    That's what I keep telling myself. I'm getting one in february I figure by then I'll be ok. I've learned a lot already but still feel like a noob. PS is helping a lot(i'm actually editing the shots of Tank's IS now even though I should have done that first.)

    not really, you can find them on craigslist all day for 350-400 bucks but i know how to use it properly

    like i have said many times, put me in the DC shoes STI and you aint gonna get results like ken block. same thing with a camera and the person that takes a picture.

    Nice looking pictures! The backgrounds could probably be more interesting, but thats not the most important thing. I like the first and last ones best.

    When did you sell the 350? Couldn't stay away from boost too long I see. Weren't you thinking about getting an Evo?

    i sold the 350 to get an evo but then i decided id rather have a house than a car. found a good deal on the place im in now and cant afford an evo anymore

    i think your white balance is off, and your apeture is too high, and the contrast is too low... and the exposure is too high ... i dont even know what that means......lol
