First to start off, the lurker local who has a 4G63 well on its way ( they were assembling the engine while I was pulling the transmission )
Onward to the awesome destruction!
Good thing I bought an entire clutch kit with a pressure plate
Good bye ACT Heavy Duty. You served me well. In addition to embarrassing me in front of moderator the first time I used you
Goodbye clutchnet clutch disc. Sorry that I completely obliterated you into oblivion. ( For the record, on the back side where there are those shiny things, they were rubbed off <_< ) Keep in mind I was averaging 35mph on the way to this shop due to how gone this clutch and other parts were. It. Was. Gone.
Mr. Fidanza! YOU'RE ALIVE! WE CAN SAVE YOU!
Backside of the friction insert...
When placed back on the flywheel, if you made one side level, the other side of the insert would clear the flywheel by about 1/4" <_<
There now, cleaned you up nice and good
Pretty, ain't it?
.... and the pictures really stop there. Why? Not because it got late, not because we got tired, nay. Because the friction insert for the Fidanza was wrongSo I guess I'll have to sent it back and hopefully receive the correct one
Really dampened my evening because I ( with some assistance with Dustin to get a few bolts, predominately flywheel ) was making good time with everything ( up to the flywheel photo was under 2 hours ). The PLUS side to it though, is I noticed I don't have a crank dowel pin thing for the flywheel, so this downtime is actually a benefit.
So here's the closing shot to this chapter.
I'm so about to catch hell for my clutch parts

So I guess I'll have to sent it back and hopefully receive the correct one
