its a AE86 if im not mistaken 84-87 sr5's are AE86 and 84-87 GTS are AE88 but its just the chassis code. thanks for the compliment, i absolutely love this car.

Dude, thanks for clearing it up and you might wanna change the 87 in your title.
The official 87 corollas came front wheel drive. The 84-86 corollas came rear wheel whether it was a gts or an sr5. I'm not saying you don't have a rear wheel 87 because it could have been one of the last models before the new 87s (front wheel drive) came to america.
Simply stating that your car is a definite rear wheel (ae86) will help the sale and the price is REALLY good even thought it is not a hatch.... so don't listen to low ballers.

Yea doood, 88 was the first year of the fwd Corollas. 84-87 Sr5 or GTS were ALL rwd....
