Default Saturn Ion Redline Vs Integra

I was on my way to work waiting at a light, and a white Integra rolled up and rev'ed at me. I knodded at him. and once the light hit Green we Went. 1st Gear we were even 2nd I pulled to about 1/2 -2/3 car lengths on him. at the end of 3rd I was 1 1/2 car length on him we went to 120 and then backed off. he was like 3- 4 car lengths behind. he had an exhaust and I think an Intake. not sure

    Saturn Ion Redline
    Horsepower: 205 hp @ 5600 rpm
    Torque: 200 ft-lbs @ 4400 rpm
    Curb Weight 2933 lbs

I'm hoping this Integra was at least a GS-R.

u prbly killed a ricer in a LS with jus bear can exhaust tip on it. GS-R would put up a good fight or bumper 2 bumper

Also I would like to add that new saturn coupe roadster looks pretty good, wonder what engine they are using in that. My opion if they put a supercharger in the redline its only right they do the same for this roadster. lata !!!

I've ridden in a couple Ion Redlines and had to eat my words talking bad about Saturns. They're surprisingly quick, and thanks to the supercharger they've got very nice power delivery.

the Saturn Ion Redline is'nt that bad but it gets alot of wheel hop and if the Redline Vue did not have trac control it would beat it I know this because I work for Saturn.Just to let everyone know that doesnt the 2004 Vue V6 and up have a HONDA motor in them no it is not super charged like the Ion but has 250 HP. When the SKY comes out it come with the 2.4 I think it might be the 2.2 it will not be supercharged or turboed but it should be I cant wait to drive one

I donno about that. The problem w/ the Ion Redline is that the ECU is so sensitive. Upgrading the Pully will only allow u to get full boost sooner. The ECU compensates when it sees more boost. I hear though that GM is coming out w/ a stage 1 and Stage 2 upgrades for the Cobalt SS and the Redline. I think there is an ECU reflash.
