That's a steal anyway you look at it. If you will let the buyer do a leakdown and CR check b4 they buy that's a f*cking steal.

now that i own an altima... I been doing some reading up. These motors have cats that are VERY close to the head and the cats heat up and blow chunks that end up getting in the head and apparently blowing head gaskets/rings. Can you ask your buddy if this is what this motor is from?

ok, the head gasket failed beacuse of a dual thermostat problem that nissan recognized in a tsb. one thermostat opened at a different temperature than the other and caused problems circulating the coolant. the second thermostat has been removed per the tsb. the motor was replaced due to cost. they found a used motor for a good price and installed it instead of rebuilding the old motor since it calls for the motor to be removed for rebuilding anyways.

    Thanks my brotha!

Also, i'm sorry to be a pain, but did the ASE Master find any issues when he did the rebuild. Why i'm asking is because this is going into my daily so that I can finish my eclipse. So it's going to be a very important part... know what mean?
