I can't get on that link at work but i'm assuming it's the Porsche Club of America....so wouldn't you need to take a Porsche? You know...i've been thinking a turbo h22 in the back of a 914 would be fun.

as far as i know you can go with whatever... and the $335 price is for non PCA members, but even if you pay up they will bump you if a member wants the spot .

errr, cause there was only like 11 of them made and still no where near the power or torque. Did you mean a 914-6?

The 914-6 is a better body, safer too...has the braces going across in the doors that keep you from being squished if broad sided/t-boned...but still slowww.

    Not true.

They get first dibs, then they open it up to everyone.

i'm sure there are several porsche owners that will pay for another spot just to keep a honda from being out there.

That's not how they do things. It's not about money. You ever been to one? Doesn't sound like it.

not exactly, but my dad owned a 356 speedster for nearly 10 years, raced SCCA for 30 [ECURIE VITESSE]...my old roommate worked for Porsche Audi Parts, now called German Auto Dismantlers...owned by Joe Cogbill, whose aunt was my sunday school teacher for a longg time...spent quite a bit of time over there and between that and all the races i've stayed and worked at i've been around Porsches and their owners quite a bit...MOST are down to earth people ONCE they get to know you, otherwise it's still just a japanese car too them...whether it was either of my integra's or my 300zx.

run a search for "porscharu" on nasioc.com

There have been a couple of people that have swapped in WRX flat 4s into the backs of older Porsches.
