I can understand what you're saying about people not being themselves.
However, where I disagree with you is the the black people white people talk view point.
All people should speak proper English and our society and more importantly the Black culture, has allowed Ebonics to become the problem it is today. Ebonics, while stereotypical, is not representative of all Black people just as hick talk isn't representative of all White people.
