Depends on what your definition of greater is. Stock for stock, If you want quicker spool, from the increased C/R Type R is better on boost. But if you are looking for better flame travel/combustion GSR is probably better. I prefer Type R block with GSR head.Originally Posted by eYezs1ck
They are no where near the same engine. Just about everything except for the bore is different. And GSR's have P72 heads (smaller combustion chambers, & different intake manifold bolt pattern), B16's have PR3 heads.
