i was wondering which would be a better way to go for turbo.i see alot of ppl sayin b16s are great for turbo.any difference in a jdm b16 and a usdm b16?

well i would boost both...both of these motors hold boost well to me.and yea they are diffrent(jap domestic market)(united states domestic market)lol. GL

Go with Gsr. It will be more fun to drive with the torque.

Depends on what your definition of greater is. Stock for stock, If you want quicker spool, from the increased C/R Type R is better on boost. But if you are looking for better flame travel/combustion GSR is probably better. I prefer Type R block with GSR head.

They are no where near the same engine. Just about everything except for the bore is different. And GSR's have P72 heads (smaller combustion chambers, & different intake manifold bolt pattern), B16's have PR3 heads. GSR has more displacement and is a better engine all around.
