Default For those w/ HIDs, etc.

was there ever an issue when u turn on ur signals that ur HIDs/headlights flicker? i have this slight issue, sometimes w/ my maxima (not retrofitted, just installed the kit) and it flickers when i use my signal light. i've spoke to a friend, he says he's never encountered this problem w/ his integra, so i'm kinda thinking a ground kit would solve the issue

Make sure its not your ballast/bulbs first. Put on your stock halogen bulb that you had and see if it does the same. If it does, most likely your ballast is bad. If not check your wiring for ground and 12v.

havent had that problem with my HID's in my max... only problem i have had is if the headlights are on, the car doesnt shut off until the headlights are turned off... just noticed that recently... but in your case, id check the bulb and ballast first... i have replaced a bulb and ballast due to flickering.

if its only one side, then i would start by switching the bulbs first. then if it still dows it on that side, you'll know its the ballast. and if it changes sides, then you'll know its the bulb... thats how i figured out my issue with bulbs/ballasts....

last time i had to replace a ballast i heard it buzzing... not sure if that means its bad or not, but i have replaced a few for others and from the ones i have seen, they were buzzing when they went bad... could they have possibly gotten wet at all?
