    Default lowering spring question

    ok i have some neuspeed lowering springs (race 55.20.r14) and i want to know if the long spring goes in the front or the back. they were on my friends car and his sat at a good stance then when i put them on i was about 3 inches off the ground. any help plz

    The taller one is typically for the rear end.

    The one in the back is usually longer to give the rear suspension more travel.

    long ones go in the front....somewhere on the spring the should be a F meanin the front and a R for rear...but pretty sure its the longer ones in front.

    ha just noticed that theres a start b/c my car was way to low reps to both

    Sorry about that, I was thinking VW - the springs on the back of the Golf/Jetta/GTI are always longer. lol

    i thought the same thing but once it came down i figured something wasnt right lol

    probably because the end with the engine is usually heavier than the end without an engine.


    engines are pretty freakin heavy.

    Taller in the front, I just installed mine 2 weeks ago. But really they only fit properly on the correct strut.
