Default Question about salvaged car/ air bags?

Car in question is a lexus sc300

The car wont pass salvage inspection bc it has no air bags. I can get air bags, sourced, but I think i remember hearing somewhere that only someone certified to install airbags can install them for insurance liability reasons? Is this true?

Anyone know how much it'd run to have both sides installed if I source the parts? Anyone know anyone/anywhere that will do it?

    thanks

ummmmmmmmmm I think the certified shop bit is true. Call the DMV and they'll tell you for sure. Putting salvage vehicles back on the road is a costly process unfortunately

Fuck stance. Stance is for kids in skinny jeans with Justin Beiber haircuts. You don't need stance when you got swagger.

I am getting close to have my car inspected for the salvage title. Where exactly do I need to take the car to? What exactly do they need to see so the car will pass? And how much does the inspection cost? Thanks. Sorry to jack your thread. I have no info for you on the airbag situation.
