private message limits

since this vbulletin forum was set up here i've had around a 500 limit on stored pm's. just today i noticed my limit is now 155.

is that a error/glitch?
has the limit for the user group i am in changed to 155?
or has just "my" limit been changed to 155?

Unless your a mod or admin you pm limit should have always been 155. -jdm

well i know i've never been a mod or admin on here i do know that the default vbulletin settings put the max limit higher then 155. i've had around 360 pm's stored and organized for several years and i just had to delete them cause my limit dropped to 155 today

hmm idk,

was there any recent changes to user groups? i have no clue which one i fall under on here but i'm guessing it's just "registered users" and not a custom created one.

a user has to be specifically changed by a moderator to a different group to be moved from registered users. i don't think anyone can "mass change people" into a certain group.

yeah i follow on that, just wasn't sure if there was some kind of change made recently under the permissions and settings for the "registered users" user group that limited everyone to 155 on pm's

Has been 155 for a while now. Used to be less. It must have been a glitch that caught up with you.
