    ne one have ne serious advice about how to and what to say to a womans father when it comes to asking for premission to marry? thanks.

    i dont think youre really gonna be asking her dad for permission to marry her its up to her if she can marry you or not. just let that nigguh know what youre intentions are and how you feel about her, weather he approves of it or not dont matter as long as youre with the girl and yall are happy. good luck dude thats a big step!

    I'd take above template and work from there.

    In all seriousness though I'd just state you intentions and be honest with him, it is up to her but asking the family shows respect. I had to ask my wife's parents as well. No biggie just honesty and straightforwardness.

    i would take him out to dinner...thats what my exhusband did. I know my dad really respected that. as far as what to say tell him the truth that you love his daughter and that you would be honored if you had the chance to marry her.

    lol thanks actually got more serious advice than i expected lol but yeah i know its not really up to him but its always good to have his blessing and his support figured it would make things alot easier. PLUS when she moved in with me he was upset that i didnt ask him if it was okay than she moved in and i had no clue i was supose to do that so i know i gotta ask for his blessing to marry her
