    Default Tire Rod ends problems..

    sooo..last night, a friend and i tried to drop my car..we got to the point where we took out the tire rod end and we were dumb enough to bust the rubber piece..and greses come out and shiet...then after all, i put everything back on ...i'm wondering if this gonna **** up my car?

    not any time soon. i see people drive with busted tie rod boots all the time at the shop. lol i had my last civic for 3 years with 2 busted boots never had a problem. an i dont know how long it was busted before i got the shell. sure u want to get it fixed sooner or later but its nothing to freak out about at this point in time.

    check for a zerk fitting on the rod end? there probably won't be one on the oe part, but if there is, you can easily regrease it.

    yeah..the tire rod end is okai..its just the rubber part has a cut thru it and greese oozed out

    pack some moly grease back in it and duct tape it
