i was up there for the night practice, it was awesome. one of the acura's was coming into 1 without lifting, just a slight left foot tap on the brakes and around he went every damn time. the damn Peugeot ran a 1.07!

I wanted to go last night but had so much stuff to finish i decided to do the fri-sat.

Oh and it was down to a 1:06 today for both the 908 and R10

I was in a conference with Johnny O Connel and he said the GT1 Vette is running 2 secs a lap faster than the Imsa 300zx with 800hp. And to add to that, the 300zx didn't brake for 10A and 10B.

that car is fast, they just don't seem to be going fast because they're so damn quiet. i love the diesels, the only cars out there that could run race pace during quiet time on sunday and likely pass the 90dB limit.

and they announced the 1.07 before they ended practice last night, didn't hear anything about a 1.06 but either way that's just stupid fast .

From 5:00 to 8:00 i stood and watched the Peugeot team take the car apart. I took many pics. I didn't know they use a legality plank under P1 cars.

Today when I was leaving Waffle House I saw a semi with a car trailer stuck on a little hill, the middle of the trailer was on the ground. It had Mazda and Cosworth stickers on it so I'm guessing someone isn't going to make it on time. We were right off 85, so it seemed to me like someone was heading to Road Atl.
