I love his show. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing the movie. I must admit, I do cringe sometimes at how harsh he is towards religion, but I think it's more out of southern conditioning than anything else

Meh, looks okay. Just another movie made to get a reaction. Religious zealots will be all over this as much as the anti-religious ones.
If by southern conditioning you mean respecting other's views, I agree with you 100%. Not religious but I have no respect for people that attack others for it. It's fun as hell to bash religious folk, atleast to me. I mean it's always nice to engage in discussions with one another to see which of the two has more brain powa! JMO

Religion is hardly insanity. Talk to anyone who is well researched and informed on their religion and you'll get a good debate out of them. This movie looks like it's just going to stab at the common people that follow misguidedly. It's just a simple movie for anti-religious fans to get their jollies off. Considering how it's by the people that did Borat and Fahrenheit 9/11, nobody should be taking this movie seriously.
But yes, I will be watching this movie. And I think all of the people who are against religion in one way or atleast have some doubt in it should meet up and get baked, then go watch it as a group. Doubt It'll go down but it was worth a shot.

Considering how almost the entire planet's population believes in some sort of religion, it should probably be taken very seriously whether you agree or not. I find both parties to be equally retarded in the majority of their arguments, but that's for another thread.
