Shops Busted!!!!
Friday (yeah last week, haha), while I was working (I deliver parts) I noticed undercovers and police in and out the plaza parking lot throughout the morning. Around 1pm, police raided the whole lot. They blocked the entrances and wouldn't let anyone in or out for an hour. After an hour, the only way you could get out, was if they ran your vin #, insurance, ID, and possibly search the car. No one could come in, unless the parked and walked over, but even then, you had to show your ID and they ran it. Crazy!!! They eventually ran ALLLLLL the cars in the parking lots VIN # (50-60 cars) and left around 6pm.
Anyways, they busted and arrested the owners of 2 shops. They had stolen cars in their area. That day they towed about 6 cars out (chevelle, chevy truck, crx, etc). They were STRIPPED to death. Well, since then, tow trucks have been in and out of our plaza towing 2-3 cars at a time. Lets just say that the plaza is almost clear, besides employee cars. Some of the guys in the shops were saying that people are stealing the cars and dropping them off there. Who knows. What I do know is that we (Autozone) had a brand new 2004 Ford truck (maybe 2mo old) that was STOLEN out of the parking lot.
