i lost 9mpg

the other day i bought a three step engine cleaner. one to spray in the throttle body. one to suck in the vacuum line.. and one for the gas tank. i started it up. ran fine. went to work. when i left work my car was idling at like 1100.. took the iacv off and cleaned it.. nothing.. cleaned and lubed the tb... nothing.. then last night i smell a rotten egg smell.. so im thinking its the cat stopped up.. i was getting 28mpg before.. now im around 19.. horribbblllee.. any suggestions? i might just take the cat off and knock all the stuff out.. know anyone with a test pipe or someone that will weld on a straight pipe? my cars an obd1 swap and the o2 sensors are cut off so i dont think ill have a problem. suggestions.. intelligent ones.. will be repped.thanks

if u dont have to have emissions just go on ebay and get u a test pipe.

The egg smell is definitely your cat. No you can't just knock the stuff out, your cat is a goner . I don't think your cat is the only thing causing the mileage drop. What product did you use?
