Watching the MotoGP race this afternoon. Was going to fly up and see it in person, but not one single other person could seem to afford to go.

That was the Peugeot 908 HDI HY with a KERS system before the F1 cars get it. Don't know if it will be at Petit Le Mans

and WOW @ Vettel!!!!!! You can't help but feel happy for the guy. Who would've guessed? Today was a good day.... Even if Massa or Kimi didn't win, at least a Ferrari chassis did (and Hamilton didn't)

That chassis is last years Red Bull and was designed by Adrian Newey. It has a Ferrari powerplant though. The big thing to remember is this is the former Minardi team. The same one that went 20 years without a podium.

LOL rain is a massive understatement! There were wind gusts of up to 60mph!
I'll post up all my pics from Indy by tonight hopefully.

I was in the wide open part near turns 1-2-3-4. It was nuts. The inflatable barriers on the walls started to fly away.

^DAMN! Those air fences are usually tied tight too!

I saw one clip on TV of fans in the grandstands and it looked miserable.

It really wasn't that bad. The people you saw that looked miserable probably didn't really care about the race. It was actually a really cool experience. That storm was insane and the riders kept riding! My poncho was ripped in half by the wind and nearly flew off. I took a few videos on my digital camera of the wind. I'll post those up too.

The wind really picked up when they red flagged the race. That was when everyone started leaving, being on the grandstand probably didn't help the wind situation.

Both Rossi and announcer Kevin Schwantz said it was the worst conditions they had ever seen.
