pullapart.. what other cars have the motor. is this a hyundai 2.0? or the mitsu/hyundai clone?
Pull-a-part has nothing. Ive been over the entire lot. Its a 2.0 DOHC engine and its an 04. I dont know, maybe someone else will. Also not sure what other cars have the same engine.

I think the engine is called the Beta II (2). That motor is in all of the following cars.

if u want to try and find some cheaper parts, id call in some prices for a 97 tiburon/elantra.. the motors are the same, just after 01 they have a revised head with Vvt. even if u could find a cheaper motor form those cars, u could use the block. and just swap the head over.... its always a possibility!
i will ask my stepdad when he wakes up if hes got anything laying around, he works at hyundai so you might get lucky.
