Default F/S Philips DVR/DVD-RW/surround sound combo, perfect addition to your XBOX or PS3

UPDATE 2/6/09: This is still for sale!!! Someone make me an offer! I will consider ALL offers! These are still going for $250+ on ebay.

    Price Drop!!! $175

My wife and I are currently renovating a part of our 100 year old house, including my "man cave", so I have decided to upgrade my surround sound system while I have it all taken down. I have for sale a Philips DVR/DVD-RW/Surround sound combo. The DVR is 80gb (about 100hrs of TV). The surround sound is 700w and features Dolby Pro Logic II and DTS decoding. The DVR plays and writes DVD's. You can record anything you want from TV and then burn it to a DVD in DIVX format. The system is in perfect working condition. I just want something in 7.1 surround. It is a very nice and versatile system. I mainly used it to record movies from hbo and as a surround system for my XBOX using the optical audio input for true 5.1 Digital surround sound. I paid $448 for this a year ago. I will take $225 OBO. I am located in Milledgeville. Pick up only. I may be willing to drive 30 minutes or so to meet, but I drive an SUV that gets 13mpg, so don't ask me if I will drive to farther to meet. I will consider trading for a 7.1 surround system plus cash on my part.

Another cool thing about this is that you can record yourself playing XBOX (or PS3 if you use componant and not HDMI), burn it to a DVD-RW, upload onto your computer and post to the web if you are into that sort of thing. I only tried it once, and it does work.

Perfect for XBOX 360 or PS3 surround sound!!!!
