    Default i hate overdraft fee's

You accidentally overspend $20 in one account, and get raped with $260 in overdrafts. ****ing stupid $1 and $2 transactions.

    BoA lol

what just annoys me the most is that the ATM or Online never updated anything till almost 5 days later. Then I see all the transactions, overdrafts etc.

I think its time to change banks.

DOH! with BOa you can use your keep the change as overdraft protection. they basically keep 50 dollars in it @ all time or more if you request. sorry to hear that you over drafted enough for barack obama's half brother in africa to live like a king for year.

    and yes... surprise buttsecks indeed

This chick I know did the same thing. $5-$6 transactions everyday for lunch and other crap. She didn't know her bank account was bone dry.

Her account came down to -$623.28. Woulda took her months just to get some money back in there. LOL

All she did is go to the bank and cry and sob and they took a majority of it off.
    B!tches always get off easy.

NEVER EVER call customer service or do customer service through online when dealing with overdraft fees. All they are, are just people that answer the phone and go by a book of how to do this and that. Smart thing to do is one, establish a relationship with a bank branch (like making sure you are known there, go in often to do transactions, always saying hi to the branch manager, he's usually on the floor, stuff like that) then two, whenever you have anything to take care of regarding your account you go the the branch that you have established with. The people on the phone are only allowed to enter a specific code for the overdrafts, a branch manager can put whatever he wants and force the refund.

Thing that sucks is when you do it online they do what they call "Decision" the request or something like that, and when they decision it, its done. Nothing you can do. Sometimes they don't though. So, go to a branch and talk to them... in the future, always go to a branch, especially for overdrafts.

Yeah. Wachovia one time I had like 3 dollars in the account ( its my extra account I never ever use ) Well I thought I had more so I bought lunch with it which was like 5 bucks... So I went over two dollars. got hit with a 40$ fee. I was so mad, so I said **** it. I never use the account I'm not paying that ****. lol Like 4 months later they closed my account and added on another fee of 40$ more dollars. So now I have an 88$ bill from them and they just set it straigh to a collections agency. Those muther ****ers. I know its all my fault. But really? They sent it straight to a collections agency after shutting down my account. :shrugs: oh well.

I had money in it when I checked - I just hate how some stuff doesn't post and your account doesn't update till 4 days later

    thats not always true

credit gets taken out just as fast. its only certain places that take a couple days to post and it still takes the same amount of time at those places with debit and credit
