Format: Really no format. Open gaming. Any Edition, Any type of Deck.
You dont even have to play, chill with us, watch, grab a few car mags...whatever.

i really dont want to drive in Atlanta. all the detours and exits closed is driving me nuts. i got lost last weekend for like 45 mins b/c all the 75 N exits were f'n closed. but ill see. you dont think borders is gonna care?
What direction are you coming from? Unless you are coming from the Southside you wont hit any problems, if you know where you are going lol This borders isnt near dowtown atlanta, its right near Lenox Mall/Phipps Plaza.
Im checking with Borders today about it, but as long as we buy a drink or something they shouldnt have a problem.
Make one of these for a weekday and Ill def. be there.
haha, i remember playing this back in high school. Would you guys be against a random person showing up? It's been forever since i played and i wouldn't mind dusting off a couple of old decks of mine.

I looked up the addy and its about 40 miles from me
i havent talked to the owner, but i used to play in there b4. so id assume they'd be cool with it. i would ask them ahead of time though. gaming stores are always cool with people playing there. it brings in more revenue

Keep us updated, but for now the original location is set, since its only a few days away. If anything we could use this first meet as a gauge of how many people play, then set up an IA "bracket" tourney at the shop with a pot of cash to win?

Thats the point of first holding an open style first meet. Then we can see what everyone has and come to a general consensus of what type decks we will allow.

I think it's a good idea if we start playing regularly. Hold a few open meets, then we can talk about it and set up a regulated tournament that everyone deems is fair. To be honest, I won't mind playing again but I'd really rather not start throwing a sh*t-ton of money down on these cards. lol
Instead of money, maybe we all can toss one rare into the jackpot for the prize?
I posted in the other thread, we should definitly cycle the locations.

lol i still have my cards from 10-11 years ago, including alpha, beta, unlimted, revised, Arabian nights, legends, the dark sets, ice age, that terrible homelands and fallen empires stuff, and some newer stuff from Urza's saga,...i just quit playing after all the stupid rule changes and re-printing of certin cards back in the day..hell if i find them, ill come..i still remember how to play
