The good news is I now have 2 B16 trannys. The bad news is they are both 90-91.The worse news is I ordered parts for a 92+.
I do know exactly how to tell the difference between 90-91 and 92-93 cable trannys (now), but I want all of them to have labels (or I'll take them as free donations without the label). Here's what I need (the cheaper the better):
90-91 long geared LS/RS/GS tranny
92-93 YS1 short geared B16/B17 tranny
94-01 long geared LS/RS/GS tranny
94-01 short geared GSR/SI/CTR/ITR tranny
I'll take them with grinding gears or even a damaged diff, just as long as you are upfront with exactly what the transmission is and what is wrong with it. If the case is damaged in any way, I will want to inspect the gears before paying for it. All will be disassembled for parts, so if something is not what it was supposed to be, I will find out (and will expect a refund if I can't use it or a GSR turns out to be an LS, etc.).![]()
