Apparently an anime fanclub I joined is "harassing" Gen. Chuck Yeager

So there's this anime show airing in Japan called Strike Witches which is about a bunch of girls flying around and fighting monsters. It's set during the WWII era and all of the female leads are personifications of WWII fighter pilots:

Well, a club member decided to make a post on Gen. Yeager's MySpace page to let him know. They asked where they could get more information about it so he could check it out. I say "they" because Gen. Yeager is 85 years old and more-than-likely can't maintain a computer, much less type with the precision of a 25yr. old. We give them the information and they tell us that it's nothing concerning legal matters. They're just curious.

We hear that legendary aviator Chuck Yeager (85) is being hassled on his MySpace page by people desperate to inform him that pantsu witch Charlie (Charlotte) Yeager is based on him. Have they nothing better to do?

lol wut? There are two non-confrontational posts on his page amongst the legion of spam there.

It seemed funny and rediculous to me so I just thought I'd share.
