    Default KOILLER?

I have a Koiller 10" 800W DVC... I have never opened it. I bought it for a guy and didn't want it. It is just sitting inside the trunk of my honda in the box (not speaker box) that it came in. Are these any good? If anyone has ever heard of them? Guessing BanginJimmy has sense he seems to know a good bit in this area... Just wondering if it is worth my time to hook up... Thanks and reps for answers

Never even heard of them. Go ahead and throw it in a box and let us know how they work.

alright. sounds like that is what I'm going to have to do then... What kind of box do you think it would work best in? ported, sealed? It has a pretty good size and heavy magnet on it. Especially for a ten...

it all depends on the sub. some subs like ported, others like a sealed.

Yeah, I knew they were from Germany. I had another German sub (forgot the name) but it sounded good... Obviously me having another sub from the same country is irrelevant. I haven't had a chance to get a box for it or find someone that had a box that wanted to test it out. I'll probably just sell it for $50... Get it out of my trunk of Honda...

I know this is an older thread... I was just gonna let ya know, we hooked it up in my buddy's truck. It sounds good, especially for the price... It does need a bigger box than what he is using though.

Koiiler XM-8210: 800 Watts Peak, 400 Watts RMS, Diameter: 2.5" Voice Coil, Vented 4 Layer Dual 4 Ohm Voice Coils.

Note: I'm not saying this is an absolutely amazing sub... lol. It was 49.99, so for the price, it was well worth it IMO.

Oh sorry, not sure... The reason I say it's too small, is cause the magnet was hitting the back of the box when he put it in... Now he has the speaker with the magnet facing out... There is probably only around about 12 cu. in of box space, if that...
