Default My drop and new meshies.

Alright, well after a lot of work I got my car lowered with some nice MR2 basketweaves. Started the install with my friend Chris and things were going pretty smooth, but then. We ran into some problems on the initial install but my friend Tom helped me out and things went smoothly. Installed Skunk2 ''coilovers'' with 90 Si lca's and the rims. Lately I've also mounted a new bumper with no hole, tinted the corners full amber, and got the nose mask. I also took the red striping off the bumpers and trim. This is perfect height for me to drive to work in downtown, so I can't slam it anymore although I'd like to. I scrape my front flaps most everywhere since they're longer and a little lower. Since the wagon suspension is different than the other models, it will sit a little bit uneven. It's very hard to pull off completely level. The rear is dumped and the front is up about ten threads.

Before the lowering with my LS rims:

    Dropped with the LS:

With the new 14's and lca's:
The fence makes it look pretty low. haha

    Well there ya go guys.

I think it's because he has painted bumpers. I plan on having my painted with the car later this year. Thanks man.

Love the new wheels on it.

What color is your car? Cream? Paint that thing white when you take it in.

It's called Honey Almond Cream. Plan on painting it the same color when I repaint. It's one of the rarest colors on my car. I was going to wait until the MTN run, but there is a chance I might not be able to make it. Who am I kidding anyways? I couldn't hold off! lol

You know I love your car. Only thing I'd do different is lower profile tires on it. Other than that....AWESOME!!!

It was either those tires or riding on my mesh rims. I picked those up for $10 a tire.

I'm getting in on a group buy of some Hankook Ventus in a month or so. I appreciate the compliments guys. Nardi wood grain with quick release and matching knob with custom shift boot might be next.

What size? The biggest I'd go with with be a 205/60-14. But I think that might even be too big. Probably a 185/60-14 would be best for that car. Later, QD.

I ran 14'' meshies on my ED hatch before I sold it to buy my grey wagon, and I had some 195/60/14 Falkens on the wheels and they looked good IMO. 195s are still a bit dumpy/fat but it might look better since your car isn't slammed. Also noteworthy is the different tire manufacturer's sizes vary. Falken's 195s might look fatter/taller than Hankook's etc.

I've ran both 185s and 195s and it's a tough call on which you should get. Maybe see which you can get cheaper and go that route.

The Hankooks I believe are 195/60/14. But they don't sit very tall from the set's I've seen in person on 14's. But we'll see. I'm going to ride on these until I order my Skunk2 upper control arms to correct my camber issues, no reason running nice new tires.

    Repp'd the ones I could.

you had to machine what? the hubs or the wheels? Cause I thought you had to make 4 new holes for the different bolt pattern, I don't/didn't think you could machine into the existing holes.

No, they were 4x100. The center hub bore was 54mm and needed to be 56mm to fit. Had them bored out .009 and they fit like a glove.

Ahhhhh I thought that hondas were 4 by 100 and Nissans/Toyotas/Mitus/everyhting else was 4by 113 (and my Mazda is a ****ty, SOOOO uncommon 4 by 110)
