I bought a decent bicycle yesterday, and was planning on taking it out before sun rise this morning. I noticed the tire seemed a little low, so thinking I knew what I was doing, I proceeded to start taking the unscrewing the cap. I also removed a little bass piece that unscrewed and was sitting atop the valve itself. I put the Schroder type bike pump on there, not realizing it wasn't going to do anything but make the problem worse, and now the valve is gone. I'm assuming it's just recessed and put air pressure in it will pop it back up... is this correct? The valve didn't fall into my tube or anything did it?
