Are any of the "war" games out for PS3 NOT a first person shooter? My wife gets sick watching or trying to play 1st person shooter games and all the games look awesome. Are there any that are regular games? Later, QD.

wouldn't a war game constitute it as a first person shooter on a console?
if you want something non FPS then buy PC games like Command and Conquer or Civizations (i think it just came out for the PS3)

tom clancy game is not out yet. but battlefield bad compnay from what i hear is in the lines of a war type. you can dl a demo in the ps store. It's still the shooter type but with war scenarios (tanks etc.). similar to warhawk but not the whole aerial aspect.that is the only one i can think of right now but i knwo there is some more.

I just DL-ed the Bad Company game and loved it. Funny as hail. My wife does want the Sid Meier game. But it's not really a war game. I'm probably going to get Bad Company for myself. Later, QD.

Socom is third person..............and deff my fav war game of all time,ill buy a PS3 just for that game
as hypno said socom is 3rd person. it should be coming out in oct.
i will be getting a ps3 when it comes out

Fps seems to be a pretty controlling genre when it comes to war games

Metal Gear solid 4.. Ninja Gaiden Sigma, DMC4 is pretty good, Heavenly Sword, I do recommend Super Stardust HD cool Shiat...

Metal gear is awesome, and the cut scenes are the sh!t, but they're long (30 mins are more)
