Jdm Cluster in Usdm Car

I have been looking at jdm clusters for my car.The tach goes to 9kwhich will be perfect for new set-up and goes to 180kmh But I was wondering is it possible, to get the speedo to read the same as mph.I know it reads kmh but ,I was wondering is there a way to get it to read correct like mph.Probly seem like a dumb question but I was just wondering.

jus take the tach background out of the jdm cluster and install it in a usdm cluster ..... but i dunno who would want to ruin a jdm cluster ..

Yea I thought the same thing because like 100 kmh is like 60mph.On the cluster and I dont wanna take it apart

This is going to get confusing So Plz take ya time and bear with me. Like if im going 60mph the cluster will read 100kmh.Trying to see if I can get the cluster to read if im going 60 mph to get it to read 60 kmh so it matches.

we've established that already.

Most people who get in the car wont know the difference anyways, so just change it out. Also, u can equip ur car with a shift light so you would have no worries when racing.

Does your car have a tach? You can buy really small tachs. Not saying don't do what you want to do just lettin ya know

i bought my jdm cluster .... for the sole purpose of the 9.5k redline ... the hell with mph .lol

Every one does realize that just cause the tach says 9.5k on it, it doesn't change what your motor will rev too...

I really just wanted somthing that went higher than 8k dont know what ya revving to when there no more numbers.And dont wanna get one of those big a## tachs

my old cluster redline was 6.5k .... so i had a REAL good reason to upgrade mines ... the LIL bity Z6 swap would rev over 6.5k ... so i gots a motor now ..shhhhh.. that will rev to at least 8.5k which is good enough for me .

install the USDM speedo unit into the JDM cluster housing.. may take a little bit of wiring knowhow but it will work, seen it done
