BattleField: BAD COMPANY
So i picked this game up last week for PS3. I was hesitant at first because i was coming off Metal Gear and i didnt know if this game would live up to my expectations.
Well i give it 4 out of 5 stars. Heres why:
FUN FACTOR: THe new Frostbyte engine is pretty cool. IT has these "destructable environments" and the game is filled with them. You blow a explosive barrel up it destroys a building. You throw a grenade against a buildings wall, it blows a hole in the building. Makes for some interesting scenarios.
The game is actually pretty long. Lots of missions, lots of baddies, lots of vehicles you can commandeer or take over. It does get a little repetitive, but not to the point you dont want to play.
Graphics: Not the best, dont expect COD4, but good enough.
Weapons:over 20+. GOod diversity, problem i has was you can only carry 1 gun at a time. So you have to swap guns out if you get a new one, and if it sucks, you are SOL unless you go back an pick up your old gun. But the good thing is most of the guns operate the same way, so, it balances out.
You can get anything from a TANK to a Boat to a Golf Cart so they keep it interesting. The helicopter is the best part of the game IMO.
So in short, if you are looking for COD4, this isnt it, but its definetly a cool FPS that will keep you entertained until Soul Caliber 4 comes out.
Its on sale too right now for $49 at Best buy ($10 cheaper than most new releases) so i recommend picking it up.
