Yes, the 3-honk was a debacle on the first 2 races. The 3rd race I gave him the jump/spool. Nonetheless, it was fun to get back out again.

Based on what I was being told, I thought it was supposed to be a "good" race... It was still fun regardless.

we all expected it to be a closer run... i, for one, thought the 240 might even pull a little. based on his rwhp and his weight, i thought he had enough to compensate for the power difference. obviously i was very wrong.

There are a few people........You gotta remember there are 2 other fast evo's on here as well. Phil and Charles but I never see either of the Drive those cars anymore. Phil drives the truck and Charles drives his supra.

Phil's Evo will be very fast once he gets it back... but he's knows that I'm not worried about him...
I'm more intrested in getting it to the track and accomplishing my goal of trying to hit a 9 on straight pump. But I'm always gone and the tracks here seem to only be open on the weekend... Next weekend I'm in town and I'm going to whatever track is closest with some pump and race gas. 9's or bust!

I don't know seen other 9 sec Evo's Trap 140-150's so assuming you get to 9's I would think you could trap that but it was just a guess.

Check this out. Dave Buschur/Trent Staley running a 10.02 @140 on straight 93... with less power than I make. Same dyno and same builder. Buschur does all the work on my car. It's gets me pumped to watch it becuase it gives me hope. But power and numbers don't mean squat unless I can drive the damn thing

Yeah I ran my car and was to scared to launch i had 2.8 and 3.0 60 foots. I don't make your power lol but I ran crap 12.8 @ 118. LoL first and only time so far at the track.

whoa! I'm expecting to cut 1.6-1.5 60's.. that is the only way I'll hit a 9.
2.8 and 3.0 60ft's and still running a 12.8@118 means you have some good power going to the wheels! What do you drive?

My car is in Ohio and just finished getting some much needed upgrades and repairs. No more BSing about not running high boost anymore so you will see the silver bullet ride again soon. They are putting miles on it and breaking in the motor before it comes back down to GA.

I don't think he was having issues. Earlier he was because it was a little wet.

I believe he posted 500+ with a 2jz swap.
My co-pilot, who knows 2JZ's very well, was guessing 500 based on turbo size, motor, and psi. Other than that its just a guess.
