Default Old School RWD meet pics

After that we went to grab a bite to eat. On the way Daily_Interlude's slave cylinder went ( it has been slowly leaking apparently ) so after we ate, took him back to his house, took one off a parts car, and viola. Kodak moment.

One final photo at a gas station after a short test drive to D_I to make sure his clutch was working. And to gas up. And to clean himself off.

We thought it was a GTR. Till we noticed the GT badges on the side. So we got under it and found no front driveshaft. Skyline nontheless. It had FL tags too to boot.

I wanted to bring the FB out, but I had work that day. Here's just a pic to feel involved.

^^ Yeah, I drew a frame of a man running on each fan blade. That is him running at idle

I have more respect for the civics being able to last that long than some guy with a relatively newer Skyline. Although I like skylines, In a field of those kinda of cars I think they command more respect...kind of a "respect your elders" deal.

This was the first all Jap Old Skool meet we've had, but I think we could do one every other month. Right now, we're talking about having one in august.

Exactly. About every other month would be great. Only other suggestion I'd make is the way Baby J and I had talked about these meets is to include ALL imports. Like your British cars as well; Triumphs, MGs, Minis, etc. Later, QD.

I personally second this idea and option. I mean my sister showed up in a Merkur XR4Ti, a german imported Ford with the same engine as an '84 SVO Mustang/T-bo Thunderbird

The Brit-ish cars have two or three shows a year around hearm there are all vw and german only shows. I think we should keep the Jap only motif.
If the weather had of been good and some poeple had there cars on the road and not apart we could have almost ran out of parking, I counted 43 O/S Jap cars and this was the first one. 43 cars is an awesome turnout for ths genre of cars. I know of 19 cars that did not come because they thought the weather as going to be too bad. Keep it Jap only.

Not sure why a meeting here and there scattered around would hurt anything. I love all the old school imports. I can see keeping regular meetings strictly Japanese, but to have all the imports come together every once in a while would be nothing short of awesome. Later, QD.

I agree with you about every once in a while, but we would for sure figure out a location that would accomodate 100+ cars plus spectators. I could see doing a paid show for all O/S imports kinda like the j-style shows on the west coast.
