IA Cookout/Dinner party suggestion
I have noticed a lot of good cooks on IA and i was thinking it would be cool for us to get together one day and everybody bring a dish or some sides and lets have ourselves a good time. I know somebody here grills, somebody bakes, and somebody can make alcoholic beverages as well as other stuff. We can all get to know each other better and have a good time tasting each others meals.

its ok u can bring some sodas or something. or go buy a pie. and we always need napkins, cups, paper plates!!

hell yeah i could bring chicken. i would reccomend(sp) doing it on a sunday around noonish. i say at a park unless someone has a big yard (depending on how many people are willing to show)

Thats a great idea man, you know a brotha can cook. Fat, black, cant get no better cook than that-lol. As far as a park, man i dont even know. What would be cool is it we had like a ride up to the mountains, not too far, or maybe like a track day/slash cook out.
I think it is a great idea == I LOVE to cook. We should stay in-town (park is a good idea) 'cause I hate packing food for travel.

how 'bout it..... my homeboys b-day party on july 22nd.
i grilled baby back ribs
baked 2 cheesecakes (one chocolate marble the other strawberry cheesecake)
grilled honey glazed salmon
of course steaks, vidalia hamburgers and hotdogs
and made jello shots (blue:friz vodka, orange(absolute) and blackberry (bacardi151)
of course there were side dishes there i just didnt have my hand in them. people left full and drunk that nite!

but seriously we have to decide whether it should be Octpber 15th (sat) or October 16 (sun). THen we need to find a location preferrably not a park because i think alcohol is not allowed at state parks?
