    Default S13 problem

OK i have a 92 240sx coupe with the stock KA24DE. Its n/a all it has is a intake. Its having problems accelerating it just doesnt want to accelerate. I thought maybe the fuel filter was clogged so i changed that but it didnt help. It has a rough idle as well. It also has straight pipe exhaust all the way out the back which im sure isnt helping but i just got it today and i will soon change that. So any help is appreciated

TPS, injectors, bad gas, clogged intake, could be lots of things.

I'd check the timing before anything else. KA's are notorious for jumping timing once they've got some miles on them. First test it with a timing light and try to adjust it by turning the distributor till the mark on the crank pulley lines up with the pointer on the timing cover. You'll want to set it at 20 degrees BTDC.

^since it is pretty easy to check the timing, do that. Check your plugs too. Maybe your TPS sensor (if Ka24's have them).

Make sure your MAF is reconnected correctly, and that ALL intake holes are either connected to hoses or plugged. My KA24DE S13 was bogging for a while after I installed the intake.. there was a little place on the bottom of the intake for another hose to plug in, and there was no hose for it (the intake is for an s14). The un-accounted for air was making her bog. Plugged the hole with some JB Weld and now she runs like a top!

Fuck stance. Stance is for kids in skinny jeans with Justin Beiber haircuts. You don't need stance when you got swagger.
