Roebling Road Raceway - May 18th 2008

I was able to get a few pics during a couple of the HPDE 1/2 sessions and a few pics during the Lightning race on Sunday. The Lighnting race group consists of mostly small bore racecars like Spec Miata and SpecE30.

The white CRX is a B16A swapped '88 HF driven by David S. Wallens of Grassroots Motorsports magazine. He's thanking me for giving him a point by, lol. My car is mostly stock, and might be pushing ~95hp.

Thanks! I really would like to have taken more, but my other responsibilities got in the way.

In fact, the only reason I shot some of the Lightning race was because I was testing the camera to make sure it was focusing correctly. The other Timing and Scoring chief tried taking some while I was on track and couldn't get my camera to focus. So, the pics of the racecars were taken in less than a minute before I ducked back into the tower to finish timing the race.

It's a Nikon D70 that has been upgraded to the D70s firmware. The lens is an older 70mm-300mm Sigma zoom.
