    Default Stimulus Check Question (Direct Deposit)

    If I used Turbo tax to E-File and have it direct deposited into my account, the IRS will consider that as a E-File with them and would they have my bank info to deposit it to? I ask because things like Turbo Tax or even places you go to that E-File all end up having a bank deposit your check into your bank.

    Also cause my number ends in 00 and a girl in my office has a friend who ends in 09 and got his last night but mine isnt deposited. So I assume they are just doing random numbers this week for mty number range cause it says on the IRS site direct deposit ones for my range will be done by Friday.

    It doesn't matter how you filed your taxes... they all go to the exact same place. All Turbo Tax does is electronically submit your taxes to the IRS for you. Direct deposit is direct deposit.

    All direct deposit will be deposited by Friday this week. The SS # thing only applies with the mail-out refunds. Thats what the news said atleast.

    yeah if you recieved a check from the fed on your returns then you will receive the stimulus money as a check.

    if you got your moneys pumped directly into your account then the same will go for this stimulus. if you didn't get your money yesterday then you will have to wait a pretty good while to receive your check.

    It may be the bank not posting as quick as others. I have two seperate bank accounts and direct deposits for one seems to take much much longer than the other.
