1990 Honda accord alternator replace?

im still a noob at this but i was wondering...

im still using my f22 alternator for my accord but a few months back i did swap to an f20a. Just recently the alternator starts to go bad and i know i have to replace it. i was wondering if i can buy the f22 alternator that came stock on the 1990 honda accord or would i go to the 1990 2.0 honda prelude alternator so i wont get a repeat on whats happening now? They say the motors are basically almost alike and that i can use some of its parts.

just need advice from my fellow IA memebers

if its the 2.2 liter one dats from ur old setup you should be straight. it it fits. if you get a 2.0 prelude one it might not bolt up because its a b series motor. so just the same alternator that is on there.
