    Having too much withheld. Ideally you want to come out even, rather than letting the government have your money intrest free for a year.

    carpeting a couple rooms in the house
    Pergo in a couple more rooms
    pay off a CC
    get a couple payments ahead on the house
    put a couple grand in savings



    Yea I paid WAY too much to the govt this year, and I have a ****ton of deductions.
