If you have to have one that bad today, just go get one from wal mart or something with a prepayed plan. You get a phone and minutes for around 40-50 I think. Nextel has a prepay like that, I think it's called boost. How appropriate!

Thier rates arent always as good as some others but I am always taken care of when I have a problem. And the phone has worked everywhere Ive been.
Right now I have 800 min with free nights and weekends. free long distance, and no roaming for 59.00. They changed the plan its now 900 min for 59 but I havent switched over yet. Thats for the national plan, for a loacal plan 1000 min for 59.00
i have 600 min..free nights weekends..mobile to mobile...300 text messages..for $49.99

yeah the customer service is superb...i sell cingular also...and their customer service sucks balls...absolute worst...they suck horribly....

Verizon has great service.. but will find ways to raise your bill... they suck also..
Nextel is good... and I currently Have Cingular and have had no problems w/ them other than my plan is w/ them in Massachusetts
no way bro i used to sell metropcs and they have the absolute worst customer service i have ever experienced and if you have to call in an activation, you would swear you were talking to some bum they randomly picked out of an alley...
you guys pay a lot for your phones, im not even on a dealer rate plan and i get 1000 minutes for 45.99 with unlimited nights and unlimited weekends, and i pay an extra 2.99 a month for 300 text messages. i dont get charged for roaming or long distance either.
that was a promo plan they had last month and i jumped on it, its back to 59.99 for my plan.
cali you should only be paying 39.99 + 2.99 a month plus all those other fees

i have cingular and the only thing that i don't like about it is that their plans are alittle bit too expensive and their customer service sucks...phones are good though...the best in my opinion. if there was a company with cingular's phones and tmobile's plans it would prob be perfect...

I have Metro right now. Ive been through every damn US cell carrier. I think the best is Nextel. Nextel is hella expensive, but I got some of the best coverage of my life, best customer service, best everything, and dependable, nice owrking phones.
Metro phones and service suck. I call customer service and they really do soudn like bums off the street. A bunch of screen readers. You cant beat talk all you want though, but thats all long as you get serivce. Just stay away from Kyocera phones.
I had Verizon, but I think my bad experience was with my phone. Oh, and the person who sold me the phone. I bought a Treo 600 and the dude saw a whole bunch of cash and his answer to all of my questions was "Yes, we can do it". Assholes. My phone was buggy, I dropped calls 5 times a day, they lied about all types of stuff to get me on [i.e. International Roaming and Dialing], and they always messed up on my bill.
TMobile was ok, but I got a friend a line on my accoutn and it ended up biting me inthe ass. They had their billing errors sometimes too, but decent srevice. Some of the best phones out though

i just sold the last one we had in stock when you called me and left me a v-mail.
we are looking at sprint or tmobile, we have to have instant messenger with a minimal amount of minutes. unlimited text and 300 minutes would be fine. amizon gives away free sidekicks and we are lookin at that. we heard that some tmobile dealers will match that deal.

try calling sams or circuit city, only HUGE places like that can match amazon.com deals, us little shops and our counterparts (the retail stores) cannot match volume sellers.
metro is good for what they advertise... you can talk as much as you want, with no regard for minutes. also unlimited long distance, text messaging, picture messaging. the phones are not THAT bad. it all depends on which phone you get. my phone is very nice. its a nokia (the honda of phones). if u get that crappy $60 dollar phone, u can never really expect much.
i live dwntwn, so i rarely to never have problems with service. i rarely go out of town, so the whole non-roaming issue is not really an issue. i find that people who complain about metro are people who have never experienced it.
honestly gettin tired of people condescendingly berating my phone service as if its second rate- so all u metro haters can just save it!
conversely, where can i get that plan for 45.99 that you guys were talking about earlier? that sounds pretty good...
circuit city doesn't carry tmobile anymore...they only carry Verizon...

the 45.99 plan was promotional and ended last month..
metropcs services drops about as many calls as any other service.
their service was not what we put into question.. their lack of customer service was our point. apparently we didnt make that clear enough. we should do better next time.. im sorry for the confusion...
from now on though, if metropcs breaks into a new service area i will buy a cellphone store and push metro only. then sell the store after 2 years. i think their next market is going to be LA.
hell i'm with you....you no fucking idea how many people come by ask us whether or not we carr metropcs....about 25 or so on the weekends and like 10 on the weekdays...
