    well, it wont give you the Directv channels, but you can point your directv sat to DishNetwork and get their channels...

    So can you get ALL the channels with this, including HD channels? Does it work with an HD Receiver?

    You can get whatever channels that your sat bring thru... it is capeable of getting all channels, just gotta make sure that you have the right sats pointing at the right sat... and if you want the HD Channels, youll need the DishNetwork 1000.2 Sat pointing at 110 and 119... and a HD Box... like Coolsat 8100HD which is retailing $400 to $450...

    You dont have to have Dish Network but need their signal, you can get any of their sats, just need to be pointing at 110 & 119 to get their channels... no monthly fees needed... you can pick up the sats up for about $50 to $60 and have all the American channels...

    different receiver has different feature like HD component.... these receiver are easy to use... all you have to do is save the satellite file to a USB and upload to the receiver. Pretty easy.

    It's still way too confusing for me. Can you spell it out and tell me a couple of things:


    1. I pay for dish network now. Would this allow me to see ALL the channels w/o having to pay for them?

    2. I already have an HD receiver. Does this work with it? Will I be able to see HD channels just like I see them now on my HD tv?

    3. If this is what I think it is, when they zap you, how do you get the new codes to get back up and running?

    1.Yes
    2.They have many model.. I don't know about this one but other model does
    3.Yes they will "zap" sooner or later but usually they will have a new file up to DL so you can upload to your receiver. I'm not even trying to sell this but I'm sure giving out alot of info! The fed might get ME!

    I understand that, but that site, does it support only the models listed on the main page of the site...? Or it does support other companies like i.e. Coolsat, nFusion... etc.

    If you want a HD reciever, expect to spend $500+ to get a decent one. The COOLSAT 6000 cannot receive HD channels, but is easy to use. Just plug and play.

    As of right now the current bin file is working, when it does get zapped, you will have update the new bin file from this web site, which is free btw... thru that cable and can be found anywhere like Frys or Bestbuy...
