    Default egr system question

ok i have not thought about this until i started checking my cel and getting this code for the egr valve. well i have a jdm h22a in a 98 ek hatch, i have the egr valve lift sensor but there is no vacuum line on it. but i cannot find the egr control solenoid valve or the egr vacuum controll valve, im guessing thats why im getting the code lol i'm missing parts. any thoughts opinions are thanked in advance.

damn i just read that if you switch from a p13 ecu to a p28 you dont even need egr at all. well i have an obd2 to obd1 conversion on a p13 ecu, if i took out the p13 and put in a p28 would i have to change anything at all , or will it just be a swap out and everything is fine?

As long as they are both obd1 ecu's they should be fine. The p28 can't run the secondary butterflies though from what I understand. So I say remove them or rig them so them stay open.
