SRT and R/T's of Atlanta

Would like to get a local forum for SRT's and R/T's of Atlanta andMetro Atlanta going.

Hopefully there will be enough involvement that the moderators will see fit to make it happen.

This will be a monthly meeting group of people who drive Dodge, Chrysler, or Jeep (or any variation of the above) R/T or SRT vehicles. PVO vehicles count as well.

I would like to set up a meet in March. Maybe Summit around March 2nd.

what exactly does r/t mean? (I know its a dodge thing) But how is it classed? Kinda like an Sti is still a wrx and a wrx is an impreza, just slight differences? (mainly powertrain and big wings lol)

R/T= Road & Track.....typically the biggest powerplant for the given model, more performance oriented suspension, monochromatic color scheme, etc....

SRT= Street and Racing Technology. Once the SRT came out, Dodge now relegates the largest engines for the SRT models. For instance in the Charger lineup the SRT gets the 6.1L while the R/T models get the 5.7L. Plus the SRT gets the nicer Brembo brakes, better suspension, and full body kit along with the monochromatic paint.

I am honestly suprised they haven't made the SRT dakota. I would think that truck with the 6.1 would be mean. But then I am not real impressed with the R/T in this new body style.

I'll hang if you get it going. I only made it up to one of the SRT meet's at the V, but I still enjoyed seeing the other models in the SRT and RT line.
